Taiwan Lunar New Year Trade Fair 2026 is one of the largest trade events in Asia, bringing together hundreds of reputable enterprises in the fields of food, agriculture, and health care products. Within the framework of this year’s event, DATO – a Social Impact Business (SIB) from Vietnam – participated and made a strong impression with its portfolio of deeply processed indigenous herbal products, reflecting the distinctive identity of Vietnam’s Central Highlands.

The specialties of Ngọc Linh Mountain, Vietnam, to the Taiwan Lunar New Year Trade Fair 2026
At Taiwan Lunar New Year Trade Fair 2026, DATO showcased a diverse range of deeply processed herbal products and Vietnamese spices that meet international export standards. The products on display are not only well suited for consumption and gifting during the Lunar New Year season, but also clearly reflect the growing trend toward natural-origin, transparent, and sustainably developed products—values that are increasingly appreciated by consumers in Taiwan and across Asia.

Through its participation in the Taiwan Lunar New Year Trade Fair 2026, DATO aims to bring the image of Ngọc Linh Mountain specialties and Central Highlands herbs closer to the international market, while sharing the story of indigenous values closely connected to the people and land of Vietnam.
Direct Engagement with Consumers
One of the greatest values DATO gained from participating in the Taiwan Lunar New Year Trade Fair 2026 was the opportunity to engage directly with local consumers. Through conversations at the booth, DATO gained deeper insights into the key factors that Taiwanese consumers prioritize when choosing spices and herbal products: product authenticity, ingredient quality, clear origin, and the story behind each product.
These valuable, real-world insights help DATO further refine its product development direction and build a more appropriate and sustainable strategy for approaching the Taiwanese market following the event. Looking ahead, DATO also aspires to bring the image of Central Highlands herbs—associated with indigenous cultural values and community livelihoods—closer to international consumers.

Taiwan Lunar New Year Trade Fair 2026 – A Gateway to Expanding the Asian Market
Beyond product introduction, DATO also shared the story of its Social Impact Business (SIB) model. Currently, DATO partners with more than 500 farming households, of which approximately 70% are ethnic minority communities, to develop 300 hectares of spice and herbal raw material areas in the Central Highlands of Vietnam.
Participation in Taiwan Lunar New Year Trade Fair 2026 serves as a clear demonstration of DATO’s strategy to balance business performance with community responsibility, aligning with ESG criteria that are increasingly valued by the international market.

Within the framework of the Taiwan Lunar New Year Trade Fair 2026, DATO also had the opportunity to connect directly with many potential partners from Taiwan, China, and other Asian markets. This is considered a strategic step in DATO’s plan to expand the export market for deeply processed herbal products, alongside its existing exports of raw materials such as ginger, turmeric, and chili.
DATO would like to express its sincere gratitude to all visitors who stopped by our booth at the Taiwan Lunar New Year Trade Fair 2026. The interest, thoughtful questions, and positive feedback regarding herbal products from Ngọc Linh Mountain and high-quality spices from the Central Highlands of Vietnam are a great source of motivation for us to continue our sustainable development journey.
DATO also sincerely appreciates the support and companionship of KisStartup, whose facilitation enabled Vietnamese enterprises like DATO to participate in the Taiwan Lunar New Year Trade Fair 2026, thereby opening up new connections, ideas, and opportunities for future collaboration.
